Project Description

In 2023 JFCS asked me to help with their Yom Hashoah event slide show. It was essentially a production project for me, since their in-house designer had already designed the event theme, backgounds and the look and feel of previous slide shows. But it was a huge project because they needed about 50 slides and by the end of the project I had a good feel for their branding.

In 2025 they asked me to design the Yom Hashoah event theme, plus all the slides, posters, flyers, magazine ads, and name tags. We started with an amazing photo of Dachau Concentration Camp survivors which included a founder of the JFCS Holocaust Center. We had him circled in blue but when the image was used smaller in headers the details got lost. So we switched to a very clean, simple image of a candle with the background greyed out.

I'm super proud to work with JFCS. They don't always need my help because they have in-house designers, but when they reach out to me I'm always happy to help however I can.
